Integrations
Much of my development work involves connecting systems that were not originally designed to work together. I build custom integrations that allow websites, business systems, learning platforms, and third-party services to exchange data and automate processes that would otherwise require manual work.
These integrations are typically built as part of Django applications, using APIs, webhooks, scheduled synchronization, and background processing to move information reliably and securely between systems.

- Webhooks
Although every external system has different APIs and requirements, many integrations rely on the same underlying patterns: authenticated API communication, webhooks for near-real-time updates, scheduled synchronization for redundancy, background processing for long-running tasks, and careful validation of data moving between systems.
These patterns help keep integrations reliable when external services are unavailable, events are missed, or individual records contain unexpected data.
